The hill remains an issue cycling as it is luck dependant on if I get any substantial momentum before I reach it but otherwise the cycling is fine. The shower xhallege gave me pause for thought when I finish athletics training , however. With training usually ending around 8:15 PM, the general tiredness makes the realization of a 3 ,min shower that nuch more of a shock/ thing to get into a habit of.

cCHANGE Team commented on Day 8: day 6 4 years agoHi Conal, Welcome to Ripples of Change. It’s Leonie in the cCHANGE team here. Glad to see you on the platform after the hiccups with the log in stuff. Sorry about that! Over the course of this challenge my colleague Heidi and I are going to be following your posts and will support you, and hopefully offer you some new perspectives. You've been pretty ambitious choosing three challenges. It would be ok to stick to just one or two of those, if you want. But it sounds like you are balancing them well so far and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. You noticed that being tired makes it harder to stick to your challenges. Anything else that helps or hinders you from making these habit changes? I wonder if your attitude to the hill will shift during the challenge. Some years ago, I lived in Switzerland and I had to cycle up a big hill to get home. At first I really didn't like it, but I found after awhile I began enjoying it and could really see my fitness improving by how well I got up the hill (of course some days were still hard :)). Have you told others around you about your challenge? Any comments or opinions? I look forward to reading more. Enjoy the weekend! Best, Leonie Respond
