My challenge
cycle to university 5 days a week. spend 1 hour a day in nature. reduce shower time

the title refers to the weather of the past week.  For the first time in the challenge, the trip to university is harder than the home trip due to wind. The rain was in reality a smaller issue as it does not consistently push against you no matter what way you move( i know that’s not how wind works but it feels like it)

to reflect on the shower challenge as nothing has changed, I never realized how fast i actually was in the shower until my older sister informed me, not that it will make me stick in the shower longer….

the first «creative title » ,in terms of my posts, refers to the speed a bike offers over cars in cross urban travel.

Using the bike far more than usual makes me realize how slow cars are on urban streets, meaning the only benefit of cars is carry load, otherwise the (excuse the villian joke)»the bike master race is superior vehicle on the streets»

i hate( slightly) to report that i am unable to write anything up about the shower challenge, there is only so much i could realistically talk about.

just had my first two rainy days on the bike. Despite a increase in the amount of cars, proper gear mad it less f an expected issue

i would write about showers or my affect on other people……..if anything relevant had occurred

the last while had been quiet with both challenges so nothing to say there

the cycling has…. not changed a bit. Its still tough on the return trip but im getting faster overall

I had finally found an efficient method of showering ( at least in terms of speed)

1:turn shower on

2: soak myself

3:get soap, shampoo,  in

4: wash previously applied chemicals off of body.

 

in terms of causing » ripples» un the context of the challenge ,I cannot mention the idea of fast showers to my youngest sister because she may use it as an excuse to avoid showers «for the planet»

 

To begin ,I really need more original post names

in terms of the bike challenge, I found that having a song with «momentum» ( so songs that involve movement like walk 500 miles ) help me keep motivated in situations when I feel wreaked going up a hill; Like the one i linked to this post

I also attempted a new strategy for trying to reduce shower time , though on first attempt it didn’t go so well

 

in the past weekend, nothing truly significant happened in turns of the shower challenge.

the bike challenge however , made me realize how many people refuse to read signs

it was a terrifying prospect of sharing space with an eighteen tone bus, but its not as bad as having impatient drivers disregard the rules of bus lanes and pull in out of nowhere/ the adjacent lane before realizing you are there

The hill remains an issue cycling as it is luck dependant on if I get any substantial momentum before I reach it but otherwise the cycling is fine. The shower xhallege gave me pause for thought when I finish athletics training , however. With training usually ending around 8:15 PM, the general tiredness makes the realization of a 3 ,min shower that nuch more of  a shock/ thing to get into a habit of.

due to issues logging in ( my phone number apparently not entering the system when I signed up) this blog , and potentially all further blogs, will be on this document. Had a proper attempt at all my challenges over the last few days. The bike aspect was easy enough , bar the hill on the way home from my campus. The shower was more challenging as it involved a more , for want of better words, stressful experience as aiming for under 3 minutes including getting the shampoo ect. I have yet to shower after training , which should be interning…
