I am a 1st year student in DCU studying Climate & Environmental Sustainability.rnI am looking forward to learn more about this course and this challenge:)
My challenge
Eat vegeterian food on weekdays

Never in my life knew that I would be vegetarian for one month, and here I am at the end of my journey.  I feel like I achieved an impossible mission. I would not say I am thoroughly proud because I failed to follow some parts during this challenge, but that is okay. They say you learn from your mistakes, and I did. The real question is will I continue doing this? My answer is maybe. I cannot promise that I will entirely give up meat because it is impossible, but I might consider it in the future.  I will make sure to incorporate more plant-based foods into my diet because they are delicious. This week Tuesday, I went to the other campus to meet some of my friends, and on my way, I stopped by to get some food. As I entered and searched through the menu, I asked the person to tell me which is vegetarian; he said they only have chips available. I was concerned if the chips were entirely vegetarian because sometimes they would fry it in an animal-based fat or fry all foods in the same substance. It is disappointing to see local fast food places with inferior vegetarian options. I hope to see better improvement in the future. I told the person about my challenge and how I am only consuming plant-based foods, and he asked me why I was doing this. I began to explain the reason. I saw that he was not interested, so I just left after I bought a drink. I don’t know if that was a ripple, but I did communicate about something I do not do soo often with food stores. I learned that not many people are ready to change, and that is okay because I have been in their shoes too.
