The lack of motivation I experienced earlier in the week has started to fade. I have noticed an increase in my fitness levels from cycling both to and from college, to the gym and rugby training. However, the amount of cycling has led to my legs being a lot more sore and tired than usual. I hope that as I continue my body will become accustomed to the increase in exercise, and will be beneficial to me. I hope that this change will lead to me continuing to cycle rather than drive or use public transport.

Darren Clarke commented on Day 15: Day 15 4 years agoHi Timmy. Great to see you're enjoying and embracing the challenge. It's also great that you're noticing an improvement in your fitness levels since you started cycling - an added benefit of being sustainable! Hope the muscle soreness is short-lived. I'm interested to know if you've had conversations with anyone about your challenge since you started two weeks ago? If so, how have these conversations gone and what has been their reaction? Looking forward to seeing your blog post over the remaining few weeks. Darren Respond

cCHANGE Team commented on Day 15: Day 15 4 years agoHi Timmy, Leonie from cCHANGE here. We are also following your challenge. Great to read that you are discovering some of the co-benefits of cycling i.e. improved fitness, health, etc. Hope your legs get used to it in the next few days and aren't so sore. What do you think of the set-up for cycling in Dublin? Some of the others who are cycling in this challenge think that there is a lot of room for improvement. Have you had the same thoughts about the systems there for cyclists? Thanks for the updates, Best, Leonie :) Respond
