Starting out on this journey , I had many beliefs and assumptions on what I would experience while cutting down on plastic waste. I thought it would be impossible to go shopping and get my groceries for the week with not a single piece of plastic being bought. I believed that I’d slip up and buy plastic, and I assumed that it would be an impossible task to take on. I was wrong on so many levels.
So far I’ve managed to cut down on plastic waste in all aspects of my life by changing my diet and my habits and by managing my time effectively. I never believed it would be so simple and stress free and I’m all the better for it.

Darren Clarke commented on Day 24: Beliefs and assumptions 4 years agoHi Gwenaelle. It's great to hear you're finding the challenge enjoyable and relatively straightforward. It goes to show that changing habits and assumptions can be sometimes easier than we might think. Do you still have any assumptions that stop you from engaging in larger changes? Can you test them in these last few days? What potential do you see to influence climate and environmental problems based on your learnings from this challenge? Looking forward to reading your final blog posts. Darren Respond
